What a start! On Monday night, the Los Angeles Lakers crushed the Utah Jazz, and it was evident how well Luka Doncic and LeBron James got along. Daman Rangoola and KOC were astounded by what they saw—it’s true! Daman immerses KOC in the thoughts of Lakers supporters, who genuinely feel sorry for Dallas Mavericks supporters. And with Anthony Davis’ injury situation already looking dire, KOC and Daman wonder if the Mavericks “win-now” strategy is about to free-fall.

Jon Krawczynski visits the KOC Show to discuss everything related to the Minnesota Timberwolves. On Deadline Day, how close was Minnesota to really acquiring Kevin Durant? Jon explains the specifics of the Wolves’ attempt to pair up the “DUR-ANT” and how they could still do it in the upcoming summer. Jon and KOC also discuss the Wolves’ humiliating defeat at the hands of the Cleveland Cavaliers, who started rookie De’Andre Hunter. Jon also provides the most recent information regarding the Timberwolves’ primary ownership status.

However, Luka Doncic and his basketball prowess were the only things on display once the game began.

“It was incredible to witness the way [the audience] embraced me,” Doncic remarked following the match. “I was a little nervous before — when was the last time I was nervous before a game? — but once I stepped on the court it was fun.”

Dirk Nowitzki’s appearance in Los Angeles to encourage his pal was equally noteworthy.

“For him to show up, great friend. Always looked up to him, great mentor,” Doncic stated. “For him to show up, fly all the way from Dallas, was amazing and I really, really appreciate it.”

Throughout the evening, LeBron James led the Lakers with 24 points, 8 assists, and 7 rebounds.

Luka Dončić trade: Mavericks home game security ejects fans holding “Fire Nico” signs

Mavericks supporters aren’t letting him get away with it.

When Mavericks supporters demanded that general manager Nico Harrison be fired, they were booted from their seats at American Airlines Center Monday night, adding to the already dire situation in Dallas.

The event intensified an already turbulent situation following the Mavericks’ stunning trade of franchise mainstay Luka Dončić, 25, to the Los Angeles Lakers. In response to the team’s first home game since the deal, fans first demonstrated outside the arena on Saturday. At that time, they demanded that Harrison be dismissed and that the team be sold by the ownership group, which was headed by Patrick Dumont and Miriam Adelson.

During Dallas’ home game against the Sacramento Kings on Monday, calls to fire Harrison appeared on the video board and within the arena. During a karaoke session, the creators of the video board saw a fan. However, rather than joining in on the song, he seemed to mouth the words “Fire Nico.”

In a different video, the same fan and his neighbor are shown waving signs that clearly say, “Fire Nico.” When arena employees came up to them, they took down their signs.

With Butler’s help, Warriors are getting their swagger back

The Warriors have found their confidence again and are showing it off like a serpent displaying its teeth. Although they are not credible bullies, they are playing the role and getting away with it. They’re beginning to think they’ll deserve it.

The Warriors led by six points and were being outshot by the Bucks as the fourth quarter began Monday night in Milwaukee. The Bucks were within two minutes after that. There were “clutch game” clouds forming, which is usually a sign of an impending storm.

In Milwaukee, Curry told reporters, “So far, it’s made sense.” “After the first half in Chicago [on Thursday], we’ve put together six fairly nice quarters with good effort and intentionality. On both ends of the floor, Jimmy’s contributions are evident. Just a competitive man with a high IQ who always plays with control.

“The guys are really happy with these two games because they know that we could have lost both of them earlier in the season,” coach Steve Kerr remarked. “The value of free throws, the ability to set your defense and settle a game when it has to be settled, is demonstrated by the fact that Jimmy got to the line 15 times tonight and 13 times the other night. It is a significant shift.

With nine rebounds, six assists, and four steals, Butler finished with 20 points, 12 of which came in the second half and eight of which came via free throws. He had a strong following and a commanding presence. Despite not having practiced with the Warriors, the 35-year-old forward is already giving everyone on the team high-octane energy.
